Design of Yes that’s it! The history of Polish children’s book illustration in 1950–1980 temporary exhibition
The exhibition tells the history of Polish children’s book illustration in the years 1950–1980. It combines an exhibition section with a creative space for children and adults.
The design is a combination of exhibition space with a place for workshops and reading together. This is to bring the history of illustration closer and to show its educational and cultural dimension. The exhibition is an didactic path that introduces to the world of illustrations in several instalments. The space is divided into three zones corresponding to illustration styles: grotesque, fairy-tale and realistic. The exhibition encourages creative and active participation in discovering illustrations. It stimulates imagination and transports us to the world of fables and fairy tales.
